Message From The President of the PPP, Pastor Timothy Chiguvare

My vision for Zimbabwe is bigger than politics itself

pastor chiguvare

The People’s Progressive Party is an agent for real change, and it’s gearing itself to take Zimbabwe by storm, and I therefore appeal to all Zimbabweans who are thirsty for a democratic Zimbabwe to team up with us so that we can make history as we celebrate victory together. United we stand, and divided we fall! Remember! The devil come to kill, steal and destroy, the devil makes us fight each other. Zimbabwe needs God. The problems of Zimbabwe are spiritual, and it is only God who can bring change in Zimbabwe. With His power, nothing is impossible. Every knee shall bow before Him and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord.

Democracy

Our neighbours South Africa, because of their democracy, which allows them to recall a President, and by so doing their Democracy is being built everyday and their country is a Rainbow Nation. If South Africans can recall a President, why can’t the Zimbabweans do the same to allow our nation to move forward, so that we can turn Zimbabwe back to a Bread Basket of Africa and to become a first world country. Zimbabwe became independent in 1980, and 14 years later, South Africa got its independence. Today Zimbabwe is now around 30 years behind South Africa. What I mean is it would take 30 years to rebuild Zimbabwe. Because of the imperial presidency of Zimbabwe, so many careers and destinies of our youth are in the cage.

Our Youth

It is our youth’s democratic right for them to realize their dreams and aspirations because, they are tomorrow’s leaders. A country that has no youth has no future. Millions of our youth are destitute, living in extreme poverty in foreign countries. I therefore appeal to all Zimbabweans who want change to make the PPP, People’s Progressive Party your first choice because our vision for Zimbabwe is bigger than politics itself, and the PPP, People’s Progressive Party is a breath of fresh air with wonderful various ambitions connecting you to the future.

Restoring A Culture Of Excellence

We as the PPP, People’s Progressive Party view the future with cautious excitement. Once the People’s Progressive Party is in power, Zimbabwe will be a favourite destination for investors; tourists, and holding major events like what’s happening in our neighbours’ countries. The international community will be seeing technology at work in Zimbabwe. The People’s Progressive Party is dedicated to exhibit excellence. We are gearing ourselves to put the professionals under one roof, and the sky will not be our limit. Zimbabwe will be a country where the rich and famous feel totally at home in our new Zimbabwe’s sumptuous hotels. We will ensure that we bring in investors from every corner of the world, not forgetting that investors spend money when and where they feel good and where their expectations are guaranteed to be met.

Leadership

As the people’s President, who has been called to be the light of African politics, and an inspiration to humanity, I believe that leaders are problem solvers and they are there to change people’s lives for the better, by leading by example. With the spirit of God in me I saw the suffering of the people of Zimbabwe who are living in extreme poverty in a country that was once a bread-basket of Africa. The present Zimbabwean government has so many leaders but so little leadership. I have looked at what the word of God says about the foundation of earthly thrones. The word of God says that all we have is borrowed from God, even the life itself is borrowed from God. Heaven and earth belongs to him. A government is like a church or a ministry. The voices of the people are like the voice of God. Serving people means serving God.

God’s Plan

It is God’s plan that every earthly throne will be an extension of His Throne to establish His purpose here on earth. God expects each throne to be founded on righteousness and justice. The Unity Government we had is not a solution to Zimbabwe’s economic and political crisis, but rather a postponement of an inevitable disaster. The voices of the people are like the voice of God. When a nation is not happy, God is not happy. Zimbabwe must become a country that is taken seriously by world leaders to reach its potential! This world has three groups of people living in it. There are those who pass through unnoticed and making no difference at all, there are those who seem to go out of their way to make our lives miserable as is humanly possible. They stop at nothing to ensure that we are inconvenienced with every step we take. Then there are those as if God sent, who take it upon themselves to improve the lot of their fellow men and women. This is the group albeit not large, of people who avail themselves to the service of others. They think less of themselves and more about others. So it is with me, Pastor Timothy J.M. Chiguvare, a humble and hard working illustrious son of Africa.

A Messenger To The People Of Zimbabwe

I expect to pass through this world but once, any good thing therefore that I can do or any kindness I can show to any fellow human being, let me do it now for my fellow Africans. Let me not defer nor neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again. I was born for a duty of changing people’s lives for the better. A duty of thinking the impossible and making it happen, that is my life’s purpose. I have surrendered my life to Jesus Christ two decades ago and I received His call to give my life to full time service from that time. I have come to realize that my life’s purpose is to bring order out of chaos wherever the Lord Jesus Christ chooses to send me. I am therefore sent to the people of my nation.

Bitterness And Hatred

I have been called to be the light of African politics, and I am now here to do what I am born for, what I am living for and to die for, and to proclaim the rising of a new generation. I have a dream, but there is something important that I must say to my people who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice. In the process of gaining our rightful place, we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for a Democratic Zimbabwe by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plain of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence.

I Have A Dream

I say to you today, my fellow Zimbabweans, even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the African dream. A dream of Zimbabwe becoming a First World Country. I have a dream that one day Zimbabwe will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.

Leadership Crisis In Africa

Africa is in trouble because, we fail at the top to be leaders, and we have a duty to set an example for all who are to follow. The youth of our day are dying for positive role models. A true leader gives more attention to others needs and less to his/her needs. A leader feels what others feel. This is what I am born for and will die for.

Real Leaders don’t fight. God fights for them. A leader who walks in humility is safe, and leaves a legacy. I am sure we all have many examples of cases of African Leaders who have been destroyed by success. When they are down they are humble, when they are going up they need advice and they need God, but when they are up there, they don’t need anyone’s advice and they become intransigent to the laws of the land and to the word of God.

The Standard

The greatest resolution I have made is to choose God’s word as the standard of my life. I will always be encouraging African leaders not to take a journey into yesterday. That is what is causing havoc in Africa because, the spirit of reconciliation is lacking. Where we are coming from does not matter. It is what some revolutionaries parties are doing, running after an enemy that has long gone years ago, and it is a chasing of the wind.

I HAVE A DREAM!
